Maggie Q to play an LA detective for CBS

Maggie Q could return to the small screen in a CBS detective drama, which is currently in the pilot stage.
LOS ANGELES, March 23

—The American actress will co-star with Dylan McDermott in a pilot developed by the creator of “The Following” for CBS.

The untitled Kevin Williamson project is described as a psychological thriller on two detectives in an LAPD special unit dedicated to investigating stalking cases.

Maggie Q will play Beth Davis, a stubborn and dedicated cop who patrols the streets of Los Angeles with her partner Jack Larsen. The latter character, played by Dylan McDermott (“American Horror Story”), is a cop from New York who recently transferred to the West Coast in an attempt to flee his past and his problems.

Maggie Q is known to TV audiences for playing the title role on the CW’s “Nikita” from 2010 to 2013. The actress also appears in “Divergent,” a feature which is being touted as the next “Hunger Games.” Adapted from the book series by Veronica Roth, the film stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Jai Courtney, Zoë Kravitz, Maggie Q, Aaron Eckhart and Ray Stevenson. — AFP Relaxnews
